Delivery

When can I expect my order?

If you placed the order on a business day (Monday - Friday) before 4 p.m., the package will be shipped that same day. Within the Netherlands, the order will then be delivered the next business day (without any notice otherwise). Orders made on Friday after 4 p.m. or in the weekend will be processed and shipped on Monday.

 

What are the shipping costs?

Within the Netherlands, shipping costs are €4.95. Shipping costs will be free for orders exceeding €50.

For shipping to Belgium, shipping costs are €5.95. Shipping costs will be free for orders exceeding €50.

The shipping costs are based on the packing materials, courier costs and man hours. They cannot be reduced.
 

 

Our products

What is mineral makeup?

Our products are made from pure minerals. The minerals have been crushed and ground into powder and that's what we work with, nothing more and nothing less.

The minerals melt together with the natural oils in your skin. As a result, you will see within 15 minutes that the product becomes one with your skin and doesn't stain!

Minerals have a healing, soothing, nourishing, cooling and anti-inflammatory effect. This makes them suitable for all skin types!

 

Won't all those powders make my face look powdery?

Our products melt together with the natural oils in your skin. Dehydrated skin naturally has a shortage of oils and therefore benefits from a cream. You can apply the cream as a base under your makeup. You don't have to wait until it has absorbed completely, you can start doing your makeup right away. This way, the powder merges with the cream and becomes more one with your skin.
 

 

Which ingredients do the products contain?

All ingredients per product can be found on our website if you search for the product. You can find them under the heading 'specifications'.

 

How natural is the product?

Because our powder products consist solely of pure minerals, they are very natural products. Because of the active substances in minerals, they are not harmful to the skin. You can even go to sleep without taking them off! We use safe alternatives in our non-powder products to modify the texture of the product.

 

Do the products contain parabens?

No, our products are paraben-free.

 

Are the products cruelty-free?

Creative Cosmetics products are not tested on animals and are animal-friendly.

 

I have acne, how does this product help my skin?

Our products contain the active ingredient zinc oxide. Zinc oxide has an anti-inflammatory effect. This prevents inflammations and helps the skin recover. This way, the makeup becomes a tool for battling acne.

 

I have rosacea, how does this product help my skin?

Our products contain the active ingredient iron oxide. Iron oxide helps skin that has problems with circulation in the face. In addition, zinc oxide helps to stop inflammation. Because of this combination, the makeup helps to calm the skin.

 

I have eczema, how does this product help my skin?

Our products contain the active ingredient zinc oxide. This ingredient stops itchiness and cools the skin. This reduces the urge to scratch and makes the makeup a tool for a calm-looking skin.

 

Does the makeup contain SPF?

Our products contain titanium dioxide. This reflects light and is a natural sunscreen. Our SPF 15 also ensures that you can enjoy the sun. And if you still want to apply sunscreen lotion after a while? You can just apply it over it! The makeup will still keep!

 

Can the makeup also be used by people without makeup experience?

Yes, the makeup consists of pure minerals. These minerals can be mixed together. That way, products always blend beautifully and you won't see distinct lines between them. Mistakes are also easy to fix. For instance: did you use too much blush and are your cheeks completely pink? Then you can always fade this by moving the (kabuki) foundation brush over the blush. Just keep doing this until you have the desired result.

 

The brushes 

What type of hairs do the brushes have?

Our brushes are made from synthetic hairs. Animal hairs are hollow on the inside. This means that bacteria get stuck easily. Therefore, our brushes are hygienic and they are also easy to clean. Additionally, our products are not tested on animals and animal-friendly.

 

How do I clean the brushes?

Our brushes are easiest to clean with baby shampoo. Baby shampoo is mild on the hairs. Use lukewarm water to clean the brushes. Hot water can melt the glue that holds the hairs together. It is also important to lie the brushes down when they are drying, because when you leave them upright, the water will seep into the brush.

The retail outlets 

Where are your retail outlets?

We have retail outlets throughout the Netherlands. You can find all our retail outlets here:

If you want to come by, it's best to call the retail outlet in your area in advance. They can then take your visit into account.

 

Where are you located?

We are located at Pletterij 25, 2211 JT, in Noordwijkerhout. This is where we offer our workshops and where we have a store. You can just walk in for advice or to purchase products.

 

What are the opening hours?

In Noordwijkerhout, we are open from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our retail outlets throughout the rest of the Netherlands have their own opening hours, which you can find on the websites of the retail outlets themselves.

 

Are the retail outlets also specialised in providing advice?

Yes, our employees at the retail outlets have followed our training courses and are certified makeup artists. They use the same method as we do in Noordwijkerhout and can give you tailored advice.

 

Do the retail outlets carry all the products featured on the website?

Our retail outlets sometimes carry a selection of your products. Should you be interested in a particular product, you could contact the retail outlet in advance to ask if they have the product in stock.

 

Are the prices of the products the same everywhere?

Yes, we use a fixed price for all our products. It is possible that the services or promotions sometimes differ per retail outlet.



Loyalty award credits

How does the loyalty award credit system work?

Our online customers can benefit from the loyalty award credit system.

You collect 5 points with every euro you spend! At 250 points, you receive a €1 discount. You can use this right away, or you can keep saving. 

 

 

Exchanging & returning 

How can I exchange a product if it was delivered incorrectly?

Always check whether the invoice lists the correct products first. If the products listed differ from the product that have been delivered, you can return the product.

Add a note to your return shipment:

"This product was wrongly delivered, I would like to exchange it for ..."

We will send you the correct product once we have received the returned product.

Please note: We will only take back the product if it is returned within 14 days and is unopened and unused, for hygiene reasons.

 

How can I exchange a product that is not satisfactory?

If you feel you have picked the wrong colour after receiving your order, you can return the product.

Add a note to your return shipment:

"I would like to exchange this product for ..."

We will send you the correct product once we have received the returned product.

Please note: We will only take back the product if it is returned within 14 days and is unopened and unused, for hygiene reasons.

What should I do if I'm missing a product in my order?

Always check whether the invoice lists the correct products first. If the products listed differ from the products that have been delivered, you can contact us.

We will send you the missing product.

 

What should I do if my order hasn't been delivered after a few days?

Please check your order. Was the order completed? Was the order paid? And when did you place the order?

How can I return my product?

If the product is unopened and unused, we can take it back. Return the product to us and we will reimburse you for the purchase amount within 5 business days.

Add a note to your return shipment:

"I would like to have my purchase amount reimbursed on bank account number: ...., of (name).
The reason for returning the product is ..." 
 

 

Workshop 

Where is the workshop held?

The workshop will be held at our store at Pletterij 25, 2211 JT, in Noordwijkerhout.

 

How long does the workshop take?

The workshop lasts 2.5 hours.

 

What is the workshop about?

During the workshop, we will give you information about our makeup. We will discuss all products step by step and will demonstrate them on models. Each step is explained extensively and there is room for questions. Within 2.5 hours, you will learn to work with our products, you will know exactly which colours work for you, and you will receive personal colour advice.

 

What is the age limit for the workshop?

To participate in our workshop, you need to be at least 12 years old. This is often the age where experimenting with makeup begins!

 

Is the workshop space accessible for disabled people?

Our workshop space is located on the first floor of our building and is accessible with a staircase. If this doesn't work for you, we are happy to help figure out other possibilities. Is there sufficient parking space?

Should I come to the workshop without wearing makeup?

That's not necessary. The first step in the workshop is always a thorough cleansing of the face. This will remove all the makeup and allows us to start the nourishing treatment.



Colour advice 

Can I come by for colour advice and are there any costs attached?

Of course! We are happy to welcome you in our store in Noordwijkerhout, or in one of our other retail outlets (www.creativecosmetics.nl/service). We will help you find the right products and will give you personal colour advice. This is free of charge.  


Do I need different colours of foundation in the summer and in the winter?

That depends on you complexion in the summer. If you tan easily, the foundation might become a little too pale. Many use a different colour of foundation in the summer. If your skin doesn't change colour much, you can easily do with the same colour all year round.
